Applications are being accepted for Benilde-St. Margaret's Rwanda 2011 trip.
The trip will take place June 7-June 23, 2011.
Students who participate in Rwanda 2011 will learn about the culture of Rwanda by participating in both formal (brick making, basket making, a visit to a school and orphange, trekking gorillas, and building a home) and informal cultural experiences (trips to the market, socializing with Rwandan youth, etc..) and the 1994 genocide (visits to the Kigali Memorial Museum, Nyamata Church, Marambi Memorial and interviews with genocide survivors).
Applications can be picked up from Mr. Cave or Mr. Kuntz.
The first deadline is Wednesday, June 2 (Deposit check and forms) to hold your spot.
